Message from the President
I'm thrilled that our chapter is steadily growing, especially since I know how many options women have in San Diego to join local business organizations. I hope those of you who are new members are already experiencing the NAWBO difference...and those of you who haven't checked out the benefits of membership will do so soon. One of the things I've focused on since becoming president is adding value. When you pay annual dues, it doesn't make a lot of sense to me to be asked to pony up for every chapter event as well. With that in mind, we have three events that members can attend for free: monthly seminars, our mastermind group (Fourth Friday), and our quarterly Network With NAWBO. I truly think NAWBO is the best deal in town, with dues ranging from $150-$250, depending on the age of your business. As a member of this community of women business owners, you'll learn things to help you better run your business, you'll make connections with people who can help you grow your business, and you'll develop supportive relationships with other women entrepreneurs. We have a number of great opportunities to check us out before the end of the year...and some exciting things planned for 2010. I hope to see you soon at a NAWBO San Diego event; visit nawbo-sd.org to see what's coming up and register. Adrienne Moch Writer & Editor
