Committees
 

If you want to get involved with NAWBO-San Diego, consider joining one of our committees. Time requirements vary greatly and are generally flexible. Working with various committees can be great fun, as well as productive , and the personal and business relationships developed are usually priceless.

Programs
Have a hand in developing our monthly programs! This fun committee puts you in the driver's seat. Our programs draw members to the organization and are the most important recruitment vehicle we have. Programs also handles registration at the monthly meetings.

Membership
Retaining members and recruiting new members is the focus of this committee. Mentoring new members and reaching out into the community makes NAWBO a strong organization. This committee follows up on all inquiries and guests who come to meetings.

Communications
NAWBO San Diego's website and email communications deliver our message throughout San Diego. These vehicles highlight our programs and invite prospective members to the exciting programs. Hone your design and technology skills when you join this committee.

Corporate Partners
The Corporate Partner Committee is of vital importance to the development of NAWBO-San Diego. Committee members develop new Partner relationships, help retain the existing Corporate Partners and expand Corporate Partner sponsorship opportunities. This committee focuses on reaching out to the corporate community.

Special Projects
This committee supports the President by doing special projects and works with the other Board members to help them when needed. This includes work on the annual Bravo Awards event where you can help NAWBO San Diego reach out to the community in a meaningful way.

Public Relations
Be a part of media relations - interface with newspapers, radio and TV to 'get the word out' about NAWBO-San Diego. This committee drives the amount of media that both our Chapter and its members receive.

Strategic Alliance
The NAWBO Strategic Alliance Program creates value for community leaders and women business owners. This committee facilitates partnerships between community and business organizations in San Diego to increase NAWBO brand awareness, membership, and assistance to women business owners.

Government Affairs
Learn what is going on in government that affects small business. Understand that 'we can make a difference. This exciting committee lets NAWBO members know what is happening in government. Keeping informed is important in order to make good business decisions.
