In this session you'll learn how to use WordPress—an easy free tool—to create your website. You'll also learn the creative process involved in integrating your marketing message with your website. Whether you're building a sales letter, opt-in landing page, membership site, coaching/consulting site, site for your retail store, or a blog, or just a regular website, this session is for you! Don't delay in getting your passion and your message out to the world.
In this visual workshop, you'll see how you can use WordPress to create as many websites as you want. You'll leave this session with an understanding of:
- What WordPress is and Why you should use it for your site
- The different layouts a website can have
- How to integrate your site with Social Media
Christina Hills is a speaker, educator, mentor and an Internet Marketing expert to non-technical entrepreneurs who want to build an online business using WordPress as your website, without being held hostage to a webmaster. While her skills and background are unquestionably ‘technical’, her style is completely ‘user friendly’ and marketing oriented. She puts the fun into teaching technology, and empowers women business owners to be in full control of their marketing and online presence. Prior to starting her own business, Christina Hills worked as a senior technical director in San Francisco at the Feature Film Division of George Lucas’s Industrial Light & Magic. There she worked on films such as Star Wars: Episode I, Jurassic Park 2 (The Lost World), ET the Extra Terrestrial (re-release), Tim Burton’s Mars Attacks!, and more.
