DEADLINE FOR BRAVO! AWARDS NOMINATIONS NEARS
Submissions Must be Received by April 9
SAN DIEGO—April 6, 2011—The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) San Diego, which promotes, supports and educates women business owners in achieving success, announced today that time is running out to nominate women business owners for the BRAVO! Awards. The submission deadline for the six awards, which will be presented at the May 18 event, is Saturday, April 9.
Nominations are sought for the Woman Business Owner of the Year, Signature Award, Trailblazer Award, Green Community Award, Women’s Advocate of the Year and Rising Star Award. Nominees don’t have to be NAWBO members and self-nominations are permitted. Winners will be announced at the event.
The dinner event, at the Marriott Courtyard Airport/Liberty Station, will feature keynote speaker Gayle Tauber, Kashi Company founder, and raise money for both the chapter and a scholarship fund for women business students at San Diego City College.
