GUARDIAN 2008 Awards Program

NAWBO National Corporate Partner offers an opportunity for young women in the pursuit of entrepreneurship. Girls Going Places® Entrepreneurship Award Program is Guardian's annual initiative designed to reward the enterprising spirits of girls ages 12 to 18. Guardian awards prizes to 15 girls who demonstrate budding entrepreneurship; are taking the first steps toward financial independence; and make a difference in their schools and communities. Prizes totaling $30,000 are granted to three top winners and 12 finalists each year, to further their entrepreneurial pursuits or save for college. Guardian is now accepting applications for the 2008 Award Program Year. Entries must be postmarked by or on February 15, 2008.

bizSanDiego Magazine Program for NAWBO-SD members

NAWBO-SD Corporate Partner offers advertising program specifically tailored for NAWBO-SD members. Members of NAWBO can purchase advertising space in bizSanDiego Magazine at a discounted rate, and bizSanDiego will donate a 50% match back to NAWBO-SD to promote events, membership, etc.. Ads can be split between member companies; for example four companies could work together to co-op on a full page ad space. NAWBO National Corporate Partner offers NAWBO members and their families a permanent 10% discount on the purchase of long term care insurance through their wholly owned stock subsidiary, Berkshire Life Insurance Company of America.
